We understand that conversations about the future of a practice are sensitive. We treat information you share about your firm as confidential and share it only with the people who need it to consider your enquiry. Where appropriate, we are happy to enter into a non-disclosure agreement before detailed discussions begin.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary with:

Some of our support and service providers are based outside the UK, including in Jersey. The UK recognises Jersey as providing an adequate level of protection for personal information. Where we transfer information to any other country without adequacy status, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us if you would like more information.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that do not progress: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can pick up the conversation if your plans change
- Marketing updates: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent
- Where we enter into an agreement with you: for the duration of our relationship and for the period required by law afterwards, typically up to seven years
After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include access controls, encryption where appropriate and confidentiality obligations on our staff and service providers.
